Dr. Angel Abraham N.D.
Greetings!
My name is Dr. Angel Abraham. I’m a Naturopathic Physician, graduated with honors from University of Bridgeport School of Naturopathic Medicine. I have my Master’s in Integrative Health and Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health. I initially studied nutrition just to fulfill the requirements for med school. In the end, the nutrition training became my benchmark for excellent care. |
My interests in life are varied but mostly center around the symphony of peace we can allow into every moment through intention, effort, practice and organization. I feel a lot of conditions are usually diagnosed by their downstream effects, rather than their source. Or is it being overwhelmed unto death? I feel the following conditions benefit the most from my approach and my partnership:
If I could recommend three books, I would recommend 1. Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl 2. Daring Greatly by Brené Brown and 3. Habits by Charles Duhigg or Atomic Habits by James Clear.
If I could give you three pieces of medical advice, I would offer 1. Stay hydrated 2. Vary the types of fiber in your diet and learn to appreciate bitter flavors 3. Cultivate an attitude of acceptance toward mortality. Death is only scary if we don’t realize that we’re alive. Right now, you’re alive. Say yes to the life you can live right now.
- Disruptions of the ovulatory cycle
- Digestive complaints like IBS, bloating and acid reflux
- Weight management
- Depression
- Social anxiety
- Cholesterol complaints
- Preventive care and diet modification
